Description

No 62 on Staithe Street is an early 18th century building that stands two stories tall. It features a stucco exterior that is lined and painted, with a plinth and a parapet. The roof is covered with pantiles. There is a near-flush sash window on each floor, although the glazing bars have been altered. The entrance has an early 19th century doorcase with panelled reveals, leading to a modern glazed door. This building is part of a group that includes Moyshiel Restaurant, No 44, Nos 48 to 54 (even), and Nos 60 to 78 (even), along with a courtyard.
