Description
Nos 74A, 74, and 74B on High Street in Billericay are 18th-century buildings with a red brick front. They are two stories tall with attics and have a three-window arrangement featuring double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in painted reveals. The center window on the first floor is blocked and has painted glazing. The ground floor includes three central doorways with fanlights, an early 19th-century bow shop window at the south end, and a 20th-century bow shop window designed in an 18th- to 19th-century style at the north end. The roof is tiled and has a mansard shape added in the 20th century, with two segmental-headed dormers. Nos 72 and 74, along with Nos 91 to 95 (odd), form a group.
