Description

Foxcroft is a late 18th or early 19th century building on the east side of High Street, Billericay. It has a front of white brick with a parapet and a cornice made of cement and brick. The building is two storeys high with attics. A raised brick band runs between the floors. It has five windows, each with double-hung sashes and glazing bars set in plastered reveals. The central doorway has an ornamental fanlight and panelled reveals, and is sheltered by a heavy stuccoed portico with square pillars. The roof is tiled (20th century) and has three segmental-headed dormers. Foxcroft is part of a group of buildings including numbers 98 and 107-113 (The Red Lion Inn).
