Description

Nos 131 and 133 on High Street are a detached 18th-century house that has seen little external alteration. The building is two storeys tall with attics and features a three-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A central four-panel door is topped by a rectangular fanlight and framed by a doorcase that includes fluted pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice hood supported by shaped brackets. The sides of the house have some weatherboarding. The roof is tiled and has a mansard design, complete with three hipped dormers and external chimney stacks at each end.
