Description

These are two cottages dated to the 17th century. They have rendered walls, with some timber framing visible, and slate roofs. Number 25 has a partially exposed flint base, two casement windows on the ground floor, and one two-light wooden casement with a central mullion on the first floor. The first floor also has one two-light casement window from the 19th century with glazing bars. A 20th-century door is present. The first floor projects slightly. Number 27 features a partially exposed brick base, a 20th-century door, and a ground-floor window. The first floor has a casement window with a single dividing mullion and leaded lights. The gable end is constructed of flint and brick and contains a stack for Number 25, which is taller than the current roof pitch. A brick stack is located on the party wall between the two cottages.
