Description

The terrace to the south of Holkham Hall is a Grade II listed structure, dating from the late 18th century and 19th century. It features limestone balustrading that sits atop rusticated gault brick retaining walls, which are part of the ha-ha. The terrace includes limestone piers with fielded panels and some areas of pierced brick balustrading. There is a semi-circular projection to the south around a pond and fountain. Additionally, Coade-stone and limestone urns are symmetrically arranged in a formal layout along the axis of the Hall.
