Description

Nos 5 and 9 on Church Street in Little Walsingham are probably 18th century buildings that were remodeled in the later 19th century. They are constructed of flint with red brick dressings and feature a steep pantile roof with coped gable ends. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows, with casements that include glazing bars. Two of the first-floor windows have modern metal frame casements with new brick surrounds. There are two doorways on the right side, each with a chamfered Tudor arched head made of rubbed brick, both fitted with modern glazed doors. The buildings also have late 19th century brick chimney stacks with chamfered corners. To the southeast, there is a wing that is set back and has a lower roof, also made of flint with red brick dressings and a pantile roof with coped gable ends. This wing is two storeys high and has one window with modern metal-frame casements, and a similar Tudor arched doorway that has been blocked.
