Description
Nos 13 and 13A on Silver Street are 18th-century buildings that have been partly altered. They are constructed of red brick with some grey headers and feature an old tiled roof with two parallel ridges. The buildings stand two storeys tall with an attic, and have first floor and cornice bands, along with a parapet that has cavetto stone coping. On the left side, there is a segmental arched sash window with glazing bars set in the reveal. The central doorway, which dates from the 19th century, is accessed by steps. To the right, there is a canted two-storey bay that was added in the 19th century, featuring flush stone quoins. On the left side, there is a single-storey lean-to wing with a Welsh slate roof, which also has a segmental arched sash window. All the listed buildings on the southeast side of Silver Street are part of a group.
