Description

16 and 18 Silver Street is a building that likely started as a single house, constructed around 1600. It features a timber frame and brick structure with a tiled roof, and it has two storeys plus an attic.

Number 16 has a modern flush casement window on the first floor and a 19th-century sash window on the ground floor. The doorway and bay window are sheltered by a continuous tiled hood. Number 18 has a ground floor wall that has been rebuilt to align with the upper floor. Its ground floor includes a cut bracketted door hood, a sash window, and a modern casement window. The first floor has two sliding casements with glazing bars.

Numbers 16, 18, and 20 Silver Street are part of a group.
