Description

Nos 52 and 54 on Oak Street are 18th-century buildings with 19th-century alterations. They are constructed of flint cobbles with red brick dressings and feature a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The buildings are one storey high with an attic. On the ground floor, there are two small 19th-century sash windows without glazing bars and two panelled doors, all set in segmental-headed brick-dressed openings. The roof includes two flat-headed dormers with sash windows, one of which has glazing bars. There are rendered brick chimney stacks over the gable ends, and an outshut is located at the rear.
