Description

No. 5 Wells Road is an early to mid-19th century building constructed of red brick with a tiled roof featuring gabled ends. The structure has brick dentil eaves and stands two storeys tall, with three windows. The first-floor centre window is an original sash with glazing bars, while the other two are late 19th-century sashes without glazing bars. The entrance features a flush-panelled and glazed door topped with a flat hood supported by wrought iron brackets. The ground floor windows have stuccoed plinths and heads, and the roof is adorned with ornate Victorian ridge tiles. This building is included for its group value.
