Description

Nos. 2 and 4, High Street, date from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a steep pantile roof with coped gable ends. Brick dentil eaves run along the top. There are two storeys and three windows. The windows are 19th-century 3-light casements with glazing bars, set within segmental arched, brick-headed openings; one ground-floor window is 4-light. There are two glazed and panelled doors, with a side light adjoining the door at No. 2. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. The north end wall of No. 4 has been rebuilt in new brick.
