Description

No. 1 Market Place is an early 19th-century building with a red brick front and flint behind. It features a pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The façade includes two sash windows with glazing bars, which are topped by flat rubbed brick arches. The central entrance is highlighted by a moulded architrave doorcase with a cornice, flush panelled reveals, and a flush panelled door.
