Description

St Michaels, located at No 4 in Little Walsingham's Market Place, is a 17th-century building that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of flint and brick, featuring a plastered front. The steep roof is made of black-glazed pantiles and has gabled ends. The building has a modillion eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall. There are three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in moulded architraves. The ground floor has five-light sashes with cut glazing bars. A central doorway features a cornice supported by paired brackets and has a late 19th-century glazed door. At the rear, there is a 17th-century timber-frame wing with a brick and flint ground floor and a pantile roof.
