Description
The lofted farmyard range at Kendles Farm is a farm building dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed flint with brick dressings and features a hipped roof covered with pantiles. The building is a long range of two storeys, with a single storey extension to the north and a one bay outshut to the west. The left end bay serves as a stable, which has a door on the ground floor and a casement window in the loft above. The second bay contains three wooden semicircular-headed openings for a cart shed, supported by two wooden posts, with a weather-boarded loft above. There is a semicircular-headed door flanked by two high semicircular openings, with a window above. To the right, there are two semicircular-headed doorways and a loft door above. This building is marked on a map from around 1806.
