Description
Grove Farmhouse Barn is a 17th-century barn located approximately 50 yards east of Grove Farmhouse. It features a construction of flint with brick dressings and a red pantiled roof. The barn has a three-stead plan with a central cart door that reaches the eaves height. The west bay includes a single brick-dressed ventilation slit, while the north bay has part brick walling with two pilaster strips and one ventilation slit. The easterly bay also has a ventilation slit and flint walling. The barn is finished with brick end quoins, and the west gable has one blocked rectangular window opening along with two gable ventilation slits. This barn is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
