Old Manor Farmhouse

The Old Manor Farmhouse, now divided into two separate dwellings, dates from the early 17th century with later alterations. It is constructed of flint and chert, with brick dressings, and has a thatched roof. The house is rectangular and comprises two distinct builds. The right-hand section is of three bays and two storeys, built with knapped flint, and features a central, single-storey brick and flint porch added in the 20th century. A five-light mullioned and transomed window with a smaller two-light mullioned window are positioned to the right of the porch, both on the ground and first floor, with rendered reveals. To the left of the porch is a four-light casement window on the ground floor, and two further 19th-century casements on the first floor. All windows have diamond-leaded panes. The left-hand section is also of three bays and two storeys, constructed of flint with galleting, and includes a similar 20th-century porch. It features a three-light 19th-century casement window on each side of the facade, and three cross-casements on the first floor. Crow-stepped gables are present on the shared wall and gable ends. A 17th-century polygonal clustered stack is located at the right-hand end, with axial and left-hand end stacks dating from the 19th century. Diapering is present on the right-hand gable wall, where two blocked attic lights are visible, complete with hood moulds. The left-hand gable features a platband.
