Description

Stone Cottage is a pair of late 18th-century cottages, now combined into a single house. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings, and has a pantile roof. It is two storeys high and exhibits a symmetrical design. A central pair of plank doors provide access. There are sliding sash windows to the right and left of the entrance, and two sliding sash windows to the first floor. Ground-floor window openings are arched. All windows retain their original glazing bars. The roof is hipped, with stacks on the north and south slopes, the latter being reconstructed.
