Description
Durrants Farmhouse is a 17th-century building that was originally two houses but is now one property. It features a combination of brick and flint construction with thatched roofs. The south-facing facade includes an east section that is two storeys high, made of flint with brick dressings and gable kneelers. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of center, flanked by a three-light casement window on both sides, all set under segmental arches. The first floor has two casement windows. The roof is gabled with internal end stacks.
To the west, there is an adjoining two-storey brick house with a door on the left and a French window on the right, along with two 20th-century casement windows. The first floor features two early 19th-century casement windows situated under the eaves. This section also has a gabled roof with a central ridge stack. At the rear, there is a late 20th-century gabled extension made of brick and thatch.
