Description
Langer Farm House is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed flint with brick dressings and a pantile roof. The building features three bays and a lobby entrance, and it has been raised from one and a half storeys to two storeys. There is an off-centre axial stack. The house has two doorways with brick cambered heads made of very tall voussoirs leading to the first and chimney bay, and it displays varied fenestration from the 19th century and later. The ground floor includes a central bay window from the 20th century. The right-hand gable has a flint plinth capped by brick, with a wall made of three courses of flint alternating with one of brick, and a fixed window dating from around 1975. Inside, the chimney stack is encased, and the roof features butt-purlins with collars to the principal rafters.
