Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some restoration in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring some carstone and carstone galleting, and has a pantile roof that is hipped to the northwest. The building stands two storeys tall and has a single-window range facing the street. Each floor has one 2/2 horned sash window. On the left side, there is a set-off at the first floor, a renewed multi-pane casement window under a segmental arch, and a round-headed doorway to the left. Additionally, there is a full-height window bay to the left fitted with 6/6 sashes, with the first-floor window being from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. The Cottage is included for its group value.
