Description

The stable block, located 25 metres south of the Mill House, dates back to 1812. It features a combination of pebble flint and brick dressings, with some squared and coursed clunch, squared and knapped flint, and red pantiles. The building is two storeys high and consists of a seven-bay range with a semi-regular design.

The central entrance has a brick arched boarded door with a datestone, surrounded by brick dressings and pebble flint, with a slight cant to the north and south from the centre. To the south, there are three bays of squared, coursed clunch with brick dressings set on a black flint plinth, featuring a central door and two windows, while the outer south bay is made of pebble flint with an inserted 20th-century window.

To the north, the first bay from the centre is constructed of squared and knapped black flint with a fixed two-light casement, and the outer bays are made of pebble flint with a central door and a north casement cross window. All openings are adorned with brick dressings, and the building has a brick plinth, a first-floor platband, quoins for end and bay divisions, and a brick cornice.

The first-floor loft includes three brick-dressed slatted windows on both the north and south sides, along with a central brick door on the north. The south gable features a chamfered south-west corner and brick corbelling above for the square first-floor corner. Additionally, there is an arched painted board sundial on the south gable.
