6/76 Stable block 25 metres south of the Mill House

Stables with loft above. Dated TB 1812. Pebble flint with brick dressings, some squared and coursed clunch, squared and knapped flint, red pantiles. 2 storeys, 7 bay range of semi-regular design. Central brick arched boarded door with datestone, brick dressings and pebble flint, slight cant to north and south from centre. To south 3 bays of squared, coursed clunch with brick dressings set on a black flint plinth, central door and 2 windows, outer south bay of pebble flint with inserted C20 window. To north first bay from centre squared and knapped black flint with fixed 2-light casement, outer bays pebble flint with central door, north casement cross window. All openings have brick dressings, with brick plinth, first floor platband, end and bay division quoins, brick cornice. First floor loft has 3 north and 3 south brick dressed slatted windows and central brick loft has 3 north door. South gable has chamfered south-west corner, brick corbelling above for square first floor corner. Arched painted board sundial on south gable.
