Description

Ostrich House is an early 19th-century house located in Burnham Overy. It is constructed of red brick and features a red pantiled roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are two tripartite sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has three sash windows, also with glazing bars, all of which are set beneath cement rendered lintels. The central entrance has been replaced with a 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a bracketed gabled pentice porch that includes a carved ostrich. The gables have coped end parapets and there are two chimney stacks.
