Description
The cattle gate and bridge, built in 1819, is located 40 metres northeast of Stradsett Hall. It is made of cast iron and features a pair of supporting arches adorned with a central lions' head mask and interlacing circles. The bridge plate is ribbed, rising to the centre and splaying at the ends. Ramped handrails are supported by square section verticals that curve outwards to newels topped with ball finials. The structure includes a pair of central hinged gates, which are of a heavier section and have urn finials.
