Description
This building, located at 17 and 17A Tuesday Market Place in King's Lynn, is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of colourwashed brick with a slate roof. The structure has two storeys and a dormer attic, arranged in three bays with a slightly curved frontage.
There are two panelled doors in the left-hand bays, each featuring glazed top panels and fanlights. The fanlight above the left door (No.17A) has six vanes, while the other does not have glazing bars. To the right, there is one late 18th-century sash window within a flush frame, and three similar sash windows on the first floor. The lower sash of the ground-floor window lacks glazing bars, while the other windows are complete. The gabled roof includes one flat-topped dormer on the right, which is fitted with a sash window. Internal gable-end stacks are present, with the eastern stack shared with No.16. The rear of the building features a late 20th-century brick extension, and the dormer in the roof has an 18th-century sliding sash window.
