Description

This is a mid-17th century house with a facade dating to the mid-18th century, located at 25 Chapel Street, King's Lynn. The house is built of whitewashed brick, with a rendered facade. The front roof is tiled with plain tiles, while the rear roof has pantiles. The house has two storeys and a 20th-century dormer attic. A 20th-century panelled door is located on the right-hand side, and a 20th-century window is situated to the left, under a hood. The first floor has two sash windows with glazing bars set within flush frames. The roof is gabled, with a gabled dormer. Inside, a 17th-century gable-end stack is present on the south side, shared with the adjacent property at No. 23. The north wall is the consolidated gable of a demolished house. Two pantiled outshuts are located at the rear.
