Description

The Priory is a house built in the early 18th century on the site of a Gilbertine Priory. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched roof covered with cement tiles, which has 19th-century bargeboarding at the gable ends. The building has end stacks and is designed in a T-plan layout. It has two storeys and attics, with a band running between the storeys. There are three 20th-century dormers, likely replacing the originals, and the windows are fitted with cambered arches and 20th-century hung sashes. The central doorway has six panels, including two small glazed panels.
