Description

This is a headstone located 11 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. James in Hockwold cum Wilton. It dates from around 1700 and is made of ashlar stone. The headstone is rectangular with a coved rounded top. It features an illegible inscription panel that is framed by drapery folds held by two cherubs, with winged putti above.
