Description
North Lodge is a gatelodge built in the early 19th century. It features whitewashed stucco render on brick and has a slated roof. The building is single storey and rectangular in plan, originally designed with four equilateral sides. There is a 20th-century extension to the north-west. The north-east face has a single sash window with glazing bars and an arched upper sash. The south-east face includes a part-glazed door surrounded by a moulded architrave and a pentice canopy supported by brackets. The three remaining equilateral gables have deep, simplified baseless Tuscan pediments, with the base line expressed as short horizontal eaves that clasp the corners. A central brick stack is present.
