Description
The building is a health centre located 5 meters southwest of Nos 7 and 9 on King Street in King's Lynn. Originally a 15th-century warehouse that served the main house, it has undergone significant alterations and was converted for use as a health centre in 1982. The structure is built of brick and features a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. It has two central depressed warehouse openings with chamfered arches; one has been replaced with a 20th-century window, while the other serves as a doorway. There are two square-headed windows on the first floor, now fitted with 20th-century glazing, and the remaining windows are scattered and of late 20th-century design. The roof is gabled. Inside, there is a blocked fireplace at the east end and an open fireplace at the west, along with heavy bridging beams. A large depressed arch at the west end, likely used for loading access, can still be seen. The roof was not accessible during the review but is believed to date from the 19th century.
