Description

The former Methodist Church and Sunday School, located on Bridge Street, was built in 1859. It is constructed of carstone with buff brick dressings and features a front with elongated columns made of painted stucco. The building has a slate roof and tall casement windows with flat heads, including a return on the west side. This former church, along with the Sunday School, Library, No 71, and boundary walls, forms a group with Nos 1 and 3 Railway Road.
