Description

This listing describes a group of two headstones located 6 meters west of the southwest corner of the south porch of the Church of All Saints in Wretton. One of the headstones is dedicated to Ambrose Hamlyn and dates from 1771. It is made of ashlar stone and features a shouldered inscription panel with a segmental head. Above the inscription, there are representations of instruments of passion, which are flanking scales of justice and books.
