Description
Staithe Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is built of colourwashed squared stucco and features a smut pantiled roof. The building has an 'L' plan, consisting of a two-storey, four-bay main block and a two-storey, two-bay service wing at a right angle. The ground floor has three windows with incised key-stone lintels, while the first floor has four windows, two with key-stone heads and two with simple cambered heads, all of which are sashes with glazing bars. The entrance features a 20th-century Neo-Georgian four-panel raised and fielded door. The roof has swept eaves and is adorned with one ridge and two coped end gable stacks.
