Description

This building is a house located to the east of Bank Cottage, dating from around 1700 with 19th-century details. It features a whitewashed rendered facade and a flint return on the east side, topped by a red pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high and has two windows, including one ground floor sash and two first floor sashes, all with glazing bars. There is a single ground floor three-light shop window framed by a fluted architrave. The off-centre doorcase is adorned with pilasters, simplified console brackets, and an entablature, leading to a mid-19th-century raised and fielded door that has two arched-headed panels. Additionally, there is a simple boarded shop door on the west side. The building features a dentil eaves cornice and has two end stacks. It is included for its group value.
