Description
Wolferton Station Goods Office is a former goods office built in 1898 by W.N. Ashbee, located approximately 10 metres northeast of Downside. The building is constructed from carstone with brick dressings and features half-timbering and plain tiles. It has two bays and is a single storey. The lower walls are made of small carstone with brick dressings, while the upper walls are half-timbered and plastered. The first bay projects under a hipped roof and has a large central window. The second bay includes a door on the left and two small leaded lights on the right. The right-hand gable features a three-light leaded window. The platform facade does not have a canopy and includes two windows on the left and a doorway on the right. This building forms a group with Downside.
