Description

The Stone Barn is an 18th-century barn located on the east side of Pedlar's Way in Castle Acre. It is constructed from coursed flint and clunch rubble, with red brick dressings and a red pantile roof. Originally a three-stead threshing barn, it has been converted for domestic use. The west face features two brick-dressed ventilation slits on the north side and four on the south side, along with one blocked arched window. The central cart entrance has been blocked, and the structure includes stone angle quoins. The south gable has three ground-level and three apex brick-dressed ventilation slits, with brick tumbling.
