Description

This is a headstone memorial to Bernard Welste, located 20 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Edmund. It dates from 1739 and is made of limestone. The headstone has a rectangular shape with a coved segmental set-back top. It features a pair of Ionic columns that support an entablature, which frames a fielded rectangular inscription panel. Above the entablature are two winged cherub heads.
