Description

27 Church Plain is a house located in Great Yarmouth, built alongside No. 26 to the north. It likely has origins from the 17th century but has undergone significant alterations in the late 20th century. The exterior features rendered and whitewashed brick beneath a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys tall with a dormer attic and has a two-window range. The ground floor has been extended in the 20th century and includes a late 20th-century door and an 8/8 sash window. On the first floor, there are two renewed sash windows with 6/6 glazing bars. The gabled roof has a sloping dormer that contains a 3/3 sash window. At the rear, there is a full-height late 20th-century outshut extension. The interior has not been inspected. This property is included for its group value.
