Description

28 Silent Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century brick house, which is now painted. The front originally included the northern part of No 26A, featuring one window range. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, although the center window on the first storey is blocked. The windows are double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars set in flush cased frames. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. The doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase with pilasters and a simple cornice. The roof is slate. Nos 28 to 32 form a group with Nos 24A, 26A, and Nos 33 to 37, along with No 37A.
