Description

This building is a range of cart lodges and stores located approximately 100 meters southeast of Heydon Hall, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof, with a design that spans one and a half storeys in an E-plan layout. The symmetrical south facade consists of five bays, with three bays that are advanced and topped with shaped gables. The large door openings are framed by segmental brick arches and feature pairs of boarded doors. The shaped gables include circular panels filled with 20th-century red brick, and the center panel displays a square terracotta panel with the initials WB. The gable parapets are finished with brick copings. Between the gabled projections, there are two large segmental-headed openings with keyed brick arches, and above them are circular windows with glazing bars in the loft. This building is included for its group value.
