Description
The garden wall and gates immediately west of Heydon Hall date from the early 19th century. This garden wall is made of red brick and features arcaded semicircular arches with slim piers in between, topped with half-round coping. To the east, the wall returns and includes a four-centred stuccoed brick archway. A lower terrace wall extends south and is topped with a stone balustrade that has urn-balusters. This balustrade ends in square gate piers with urn finials. The iron gates are adorned with an elaborate scrolled overthrow that includes a central medallion and have an elliptical arched top at the gateway.
