Description

This ice house, dating from around 1800, is located approximately 100 yards north-east of Stratton Strawless Hall. It features a brick-lined underground chamber, with the upper section covered by an earth mound. Access to the chamber is provided through a brick tunnel-vault, which has a stone-slab door.
