Description
This is an E-shaped range of interconnecting farm buildings, along with a boundary wall and gate piers, located 30 yards north of the Manor House. The buildings date from 1856 and are constructed of red brick with hipped slate roofs. They feature brick 'saw-tooth' eaves and circular window openings surrounded by gault brick. The large door openings have segmental heads. To the north-east, there is a red brick boundary wall with roll-moulded coping. The recessed gateway has curved pierced brick flank walls, and the square gate piers are topped with moulded caps and finials. Ball finials were added in 1967, and the design includes modern concrete pineapple motifs. This range is included for group value with the Manor House.
