II

Farmhouse. Early C17, rebuilt late C18. Brick and clay lump. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 2 storey front hall extension of C19 with bay window to ground floor and casements and sashes above. Gabled roof with some tumbling and pantiles. C20 doorway to left. 2 sashes to each storey to left and one to right, all with glazing bars and of various sizes under segmental arches. Brick string course at first floor level at right. Range of 4 gabled dormer windows. Tripartite ridge stack over original door of early C17, now truncated. Stacks to left gable and to C19 hall extension. Rear has rendered clay lump walls on brick and flint plinth. 2 small 2-light windows under eaves. Single storeyed service bay extends to garden: gabled with C19 casement. Additional pantiled lean-to to right. Mid C19. 2 storey addition to north of flint with brick facings not part of original houses.
