Description
Larlingford Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century and late 18th century. It features a timber frame and clay lump at the rear, with a brick facade and a pantiled roof. The front range has been reconstructed and consists of two storeys with three bays set on a raised plinth. There is a central door with square lights above it, and painted gauged brick heads above the door and windows. Flanking the door are large sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has two large and one small sash window, also with glazing bars. The gables have parapets with kneelers, and there is a central stack.
The original house is a timber-framed rear extension with a flint and brick base. It has a door located to the right of centre and three ground floor casements that were added around 1970. Above the door, there is a single small casement on the first floor, and a dormer with a sloping roof is positioned to the left. The ridge stack is located above the door. The east gable features two 1970s casements in the original openings, along with a coped hood mould at the roof line and simple bargeboards.
