Description

The Woodlands is a farmhouse built around 1830. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof on the main section, while the service extension has a pantile roof. The layout of the building forms the stem of a T plan. The facade has three bays with sash windows that include glazing bars, all set beneath skewback arches. There is a central doorway that is topped with a semicircular fanlight. The entrance has panelled reveals and an open pedimented doorcase supported by pilasters. The building also has wide eaves that rest on paired brackets and a hipped roof.
