Description

Poplar Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with a pantile roof. The building features a symmetrical two-storey facade with three bays, showcasing sash windows that are set beneath skewback arches. The arches on the first floor have shaped soffits. The front door is panelled and is framed by a pedimented doorcase supported by channelled pilasters. Above the door, there is a semicircular fanlight that penetrates the pediment. The farmhouse also includes a dentil cornice, a hipped roof, and a continuous outshut at the rear.
