Description
Old Hall is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and later. It features a rendered timber frame and colourwashed brick with pantiled roofs. The building has a primitive block that extends from the side to the rear, forming an L-shaped plan. It stands two storeys high with a cellar and disused attics. The exterior has 20th-century scattered windows. There are gable-end and axial stacks, each with moulded brick bases supporting three former interconnecting chimney shafts. Inside, there is some 17th-century panelling with a dentil cornice, and one 18th-century room that includes panelling and bolection moulded architrave. The interior also features a 17th-century dog leg stair and a fitted cupboard from the same period, adorned with carved lunette motifs.
