Description

The Red Lion Inn is a 17th-century building that has been altered and features two storeys and attics. The exterior is finished in painted stucco and topped with pantiles. It has two gabled dormers, one of which includes a leaded light. On the south side, there are five flush frame sash windows on the first floor, while the ground floor has two entrances flanked by two sash windows. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered beam. The Red Lion Inn is part of a group that includes the Former Corn Exchange, Market Place, and Nos 1 to 15 (odd) and No 23 and Nos 29 and 31 Quebec Street.
