Description

These are early 19th-century buildings on the west side of Quebec Street. The two properties, number 9 and number 11, are constructed of red brick and stand three storeys high. They have three sash windows on each floor, each featuring glazing bars and flat arches. A blank panel is also present. The roof is covered with slate. The shop fronts are of the 19th century. Nos 1 to 15 (odd numbers), and number 23, and numbers 29 and 31 form a group with the Former Corn Exchange on Market Place, and the Red Lion Hotel on Red Lion Street.
